A new application lets us analyse public statistical data.

In the International Year of Statistics, a new application lets you access the databases that statistics agencies publish.

May 2, 2013 - PRLog -- This new application, available for iPhone / iPad, allows us view data like the CPI (Consumer Price Index) statistics, the census, the labour force survey and so on. We can filter the data, in most cases, by country, province or locality and can obtain historical data to see its evolution.

For the moment INE (Spain) and Eurostat (Europe) are the agencies integrated but the development team are working to increase the number of public agencies integrated.

One of the most attractive features is the facility to save the statistics in our device in order to mix with other data. For example, you could mix data from the labour force survey with migration statistics and watch their evolution over the years, so you can get your own conclusions.

You can see all reports in table or graphical format (line graphs, bar and pie) and you can also export the report in PDF or Excel.

You can download the app from the following url: https://itunes.apple.com/en/app/open-stats-access-public-statistics/id626049462?l=en&ls=1&mt=8
