ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. - May 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Arlington Heights Ford is sponsoring the 2013 Backpacks 4 Class Celebrity Golf Outing to help raise money that will be used to provide Chicagoland school children with the school supplies they need this coming 2013-2014 school year. Businesses and individuals throughout the area can donate to Backpacks 4 Class (http://backpacks4class.org/get-involved.html) directly or take part in the event on July 26, 2013 at the Old Orchard Country Golf Club, located at 700 West Rand Road in Mount Prospect, IL.

Since 2011, Backpacks 4 Class has been giving backpacks full of essential school supplies to students who would not otherwise be able to afford them. A non-for-profit organization, Backpacks 4 Class fills backpacks with pencils, highlighters, notebooks, folders, and other materials students need on an everyday basis at school. This year, they hope to beat their original goal of 35 donated backpacks full of supplies.

Along with other businesses and individuals throughout the Chicago area, Arlington Heights Ford will sponsor and take part in the 2013 Backpacks 4 Class Charity Golf Outing. The event will include grill stops at the 9th and 18th holes with hotdogs, burgers, brats, chips, and soda, as well as a 19th hole celebration BBQ dinner with an open bar and gift auction. Registration for the Backpacks 4 Class Charity Golf Outing on July 26 is at 11:30 AM, and the event ends at 8:00 PM that evening after the BBQ dinner and auction. Tickets are $150 per golfer or $500 for a foursome. Checks should be made payable to Backpacks 4 Class at 1962 Winona, Chicago, IL 60660.

The Backpacks 4 Class Charity Golf Outing is currently soliciting individual and business sponsorships. Varying levels of sponsorship are available, from the $100 “Student Level” to the $10,000 “Excellence in Education Level.” This event and the benefits it provides to children in Greater Chicagoland are made possible by sponsors like Arlington Heights Ford.

As part of their community support initiative, Arlington Heights Ford created the Arlington Heights Ford Cares (http://www.ahfordcares.com/) website to encourage participation, donations, and sponsorship for local charitable events like Backpacks 4 Class. The dealership also serves the community from their location at 801 West Dundee Road with high-quality vehicles and auto repair.
