Life, Lyrics and Laughter Returns to Charlotte July 26th

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - May 2, 2013 - PRLog -- According to reports from the Domestic Violence Advisory Board there were over 34,000 911 calls related to domestic violence, over 2700 protective orders issued and over 2500 children that needed services as related to violence in the home. Beauty for Ashes is a non-profit organization that supports and educates domestic violence victims in and and around Charlotte since 2005. This year, Life, Lyrics and Laughter is dedicated to helping these wonderful people in their mission to end domestic violence in our city. This events theme is artist against domestic violence and will feature the comedy of Katt Williams Comedy Contest winner Nicci Hoo, and Charlotte native Kevin Alderman. The best and brightest in music will also lend a hand with performances from Charlotte's own R&B diva Nitara Reaves, and gold selling singer Kia Jeffries. The show will be hosted by internationally known      
multi -platinum producer/artist R-kitech who always has a surprise for the audience.This year the concert will be held at the newly renovated Skandalos 5317 E Independence Blvd on July 26th 2013 from 830pm-10pm and will feature vendors, door prizes and a silent art auction with the proceeds going to benefit Beauty For Ashes Ministry Inc.
