Jacksonville’s Leading Radio Station Is Now on 104.5 FM
New Frequency Gives Superior “Loud and Clear” Coverage for WOKV.

The huge area covered by WOKV’s new 104.5 FM signal, provides listeners across northeast Florida access to WOKV’s award-winning news, traffic, weather and talk programs.
The benefits to the new signal are heard all across the Jacksonville metropolitan area, and the massive new signal also covers the area north of Jacksonville to Brunswick, Ga., south to Daytona Beach, southwest to Gainesville, and west to Lake City, Fla.
“Our listeners told us loud and clear that we needed more power,” says WOKV’s Program Director, Mike Dorwart. “Moving to 104.5 FM means that, for the first time, our listeners can hear us crystal clear, everywhere in northeast Florida, both day and night.”
“The most noticeable improvement will be heard by listeners in Baker, Clay, St. Johns, and Nassau counties,” added Dowart. “They now have full coverage from WOKV, 24/7, on 104.5 FM. Duval residents will also hear a big difference, especially those who listen at work. Our new signal also gives reliable coverage to listeners in Flagler, Putnam, Bradford, Union and Columbia counties in Florida, as well as Camden and Charlton counties in Georgia.”

WOKV’s popular weekday lineup of conservative talk shows will be on 104.5 FM, including Herman Cain (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.), Rush Limbaugh (noon to 3 p.m.), Sean Hannity (3 to 6 p.m.), and WOKV’s newest “super star of talk radio,” Andy Dean (6 to 9 p.m.).
For a short time, WOKV will continue to operate on 106.5 FM while telling listeners to make the change to the new frequency of 104.5 FM.
WOKV will continue to also air all programs on AM 690.
