212 Inc. Raises Money for Richard Family Fund

WELLESLEY, Mass. - April 30, 2013 - PRLog -- 212 Inc. recently organized and participated in a charity kickball game in Dorchester, MA to raise money for The Richard Family Fund. The Richard Family lost their 8 year old son, Martin, in the marathon bombings on April 15th.

After the events of April 15th and the week that followed, Andrea Atkinson, President, 212 Inc., decided to organize the event to get employees working together and focusing on a way to help. The event was held at Pope John Paul II park in Dorchester, MA.

“When I heard the first victim was Martin Richard at only 8 years old I knew we needed to do something to help,” said Andrea Atkinson, President, 212 Inc. “In times like these I think it is important to create something that gives people hope and a sense of community. I was happy we could organize something so quickly to help a neighboring family.”

The Richard Family Fund is coordinated by friends of the family, with the approval of their representatives, to help provide an avenue of assistance for those who wish to contribute. The fund has currently raised over $340,000. 100 percent of the donations collected via this campaign will be disbursed to the Richards. To donate visit:
