By: Go Out Loud “The website we are rolling out today is part of an evolving vision where our members can see which events are on the horizon, and are empowered to get involved by creating opportunities in their own backyards. GoOutLoud.com is a platform to feature and foster exciting things happening within our communities,” Created in partnership with Rahvalor, Inc., the site was created specifically to showcase the best of Go Out Loud’s member base while leveraging conversations about current events and community gatherings. The site contains specific call to actions from their members with a campaign called, “How Do You Go Out Loud?” which encourages individual accomplishments by stamping social media collections with hashtag or tagging with ‘#GoOutLoud’ “This represents a major milestone,” said Christopher Sicuranza, Vice-President and Chief Marketing Officer of Go Out Loud. “Today, we establish ourselves as a regional brand that celebrates the individual. Going forward, Go Out Loud will continue to pioneer community engagements and we will pursue innovative ways to engage key stakeholders – from businesses to non-profits to civic leaders to the every day users – we want to help people rediscover the opportunities existing all around them!” ABOUT GO OUT LOUD Created in late 2011, the Go Out Loud brand was established as an opportunity for the New England LGBT community, starting with the Greater Boston area, to engage in a variety of interest-based social activities to facilitate networking, empowering the community and supporting the local economy. Early events, under the original name of ‘Salem Out Loud,’ created a new kind of community that proved to be wildly successful with an average of 135 attendance (depending on capacity) supporting local businesses, working with politicians (US Congressmen Barney Frank and John Tierney, Salem Mayor Kim Driscoll, various other city councilors) and individuals to embrace Pride to terrific success for both community members and business seeing an increase in sales.
