-- For the second time, in as many years, the Riviera Maya Film festival took place from the 21st until the 27th April in Mexico. The film festivals included an awards ceremony, previews of the latest films as well as exhibitions and of course, an open-air cinema. In many Mexican cities such as Tulum, Cancun and Playa del Carmen, spectators were able to enjoy the most beautiful locations on the beach with an evening of open-air cinema showing an abundance of great films.
As in the previous year where such Hollywood stars as Clive Owen, Susan Sarandon were in attendance, this year didn’t disappoint with a plethora of Hollywood actors also present. This years most noticeable attendees were Christian Slater, Stephen Dorff and amongst others Ashley Benson, who was presenting her new film ‘Spring Breakers’ on an inflatable movie screen at the beach of the Hotel ‘Papaya Playa Project”.
The film festival used made in Germany inflatable screen systems from the market leader AIRSCREEN. The quality and dependability of the screens makes them a no-brainer for film festivals and open-air cinema organisers alike, who demand and expect the best quality for their events. Thats why AIRSCREEN is found in over 75 countries worldwide and used at the major film festivals and open-air cinemas around the world. For more information on the technology visit www.airscreen.com.
