We are LBI marketing campaign helps businesses achieve spotlight

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - May 2, 2013 - PRLog -- When the We are LBI video was launched this past March, it drove a message to thousands that LBI is open, and the businesses are ready to welcome summer visitors that the warmer weather brings.  The Marketing Committee, which consists of Southern Ocean County Chamber members who are local business owners; also created a logo, website, and facebook page that gave a platform for recovery events, business stories and photos.

"We created a survey that was mailed to each member, stated Virginia Brodsky of Platinum Design Build, a member of the committee, “business response has been overwhelming" As surveys pour into the Southern Ocean County Chamber, the committee, who is chaired by Jeremy DeFilppis of Jetty, places the stories online announcing new business openings, revitalization projects and local fundraising events that may be a draw to visitors as well.  Another extremely popular promotion to come from this campaign are the WE Are LBI stickers that features the causeway bridge. The stickers produced by members Typestries and Costal Signs were sent to members along with surveys and have been in high demand. Visitors, members and residents have been making stops to the Southern Ocean Chamber Visitor Center in Ship Bottom to pick up additional stickers for customers, staff, business vehicles or storefronts. The stickers are also being distributed at Southern Ocean Chamber Business After Hours, Membership Meetings and will be showcased at the New Jersey Superbowl kick off event the BIG GAME Experience at the Meadowlands Expo Center later this month.
