PRO EM Party & Event Rentals Promotes Castro to COO and Madura to VP, Sales & Marketing
Castro brings 20-plus years of comprehensive event management experience as well as 10 years of executive leadership, most recently serving as the company’s Vice President of Operations. In his new capacity as COO, he will guide all of PRO EM’s operations and sales functions while also focusing on the company’s expansion into regional markets and national events. Castro’s experience with the production of large-scale events such as Waste Management Phoenix Open, Super Bowl XLII, the 2006 and 2010 BCS National Championships, the 2010 Winter Olympics, 2011 MLB All-Star Game and 2010 NBA All-Star Weekend has provided him with the expertise and vision to lead PRO EM’s growth through a consultative approach. He briefly left the company in 2006 to join the Arizona Super Bowl Host Committee as Vice President of Operations & Logistics for Super Bowl XLII. In 2008, Castro rejoined the company after the acquisition and subsequent merger with Phoenix-based Ultimate Event Services.
Madura, a mechanical engineer by trade, brings years of experience in national-event sales to PRO EM in his new capacity as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. He originally joined the company as Director of Business Development in November 2012 after spending six years (2006-12) as Senior Account Manager at Classic Tents in Hollywood, Fla. and four years (2002-06) as a Senior Sales Executive at Prime Event Group. Madura has a decade-long history of multi-million dollar revenue growth in the event management industry and well-developed customer solutions in the tent structure market. Madura will leverage his experience as he leads the PRO EM sales organization in business development and execution of the corresponding marketing strategy to local, regional and national markets.
