Hospital opens Health clinic on Key Colony
Fishermen's Community Hospital has opened its KCB Convenient Care clinic at 306 Sadowski Causeway on Key Colony Beach.
"With many minor injuries or illnesses, a trip to the hospital emergency room is too much, while getting an appointment with a doctor may take too long," said Hal Leftwich, CEO of Fishermen's.
"With our new KCB Convenient Care facility, minor health care services are available right now for everyone. Just walk in for fast, affordable treatment."
Whether it's painful sunburn, minor cuts and bruises or a miserable cold, the advanced registered nurse practitioners can quickly diagnose and treat patients. They treat flu symptoms, fever, sore throats, strains and sprains, rashes, allergic reactions, earaches, and more.
"We also administer vaccinations, perform school athletic physicals, and for the anglers, we can remove fish hooks," said nurse Jennifer Angelilli.
KCB Convenient Care accepts all major insurers. It's open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 735-4107.
April 30th, 2013, Islamorada, Florida Keys. Per Jan Keller, Islamorada’s top producing Realtor. “This is a great addition to our health facilities in the Keys.
When asked if this could possibly affect Real Estate sales in the Keys, Jan remarked. Our residents and future residents are always interested in our area's health and hospitalization facilities. This is even more true for retirees. In addition due to our active lifestyle here, more outlets like this really make sense for our boaters, divers and fishermen. So yes it is just another positive step forward that our local businesses as well as our community government has been taking.
