Winner of the Pennridge Community Education Foundation Scholarship to be Named

PERKASIE, Pa. - April 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Every year the Pennridge Community Education Foundation collaborates with Revivals Restaurant to raise money for the PCEF Revivals Restaurant scholarship fund that is awarded to a Pennridge High School Senior who exhibits all the qualities of exemplary community leadership in both their academics and lives. All of the students provided superior written essays, paired with exceptional transcripts, and several qualified recommendations. All of the material submitted is currently under review and the winner is to be named in an awards gala held June 6th.

With the cost of tuition rising, finances are now a huge consideration for students in line to go to college. As a family owned restaurant in the heart of the Perkasie, Revivals feels it is their responsibility to nurture the youth in the community and give them the tools they need to succeed. During the length of the submission and review process members of the community are able to stop in Monday through Thursday during the entire month of April and Revivals Restaurant & Banquets offers them an opportunity to join in giving back by donating ten percent of the total food sales to the scholarship fund.
