ICEAA Announces CEBoK Version 1.2

VIENNA, Va. - April 30, 2013 - PRLog -- The International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association (ICEAA) announced the release of its latest version of the Cost Estimating Body of Knowledge (CEBoK®), ICEAA’s training and reference guide for cost estimators and analysts. CEBoK’s maintenance team, TASC and Technomics, Inc., delivered valuable updates to the existing material. CEBoK provides training briefs, sample questions, additional internal resources (including glossary and bibliography) and external resources, in one convenient package. Version 1.2 features overhauled speaker notes and incorporates the latest research from DoDCAS, ISPA, and SCEA Conference papers from 2011 and 2012. It features new and enhanced content on topics like Function Point Analysis, Agile Software Development, and EVM contract requirements, and addresses policy updates on MIL-STD-881C Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Weapon Systems Acquisition Reform Act (WSARA) of 2009, and Better Buying Power 2.0.

Current CEBoK license holders will receive a copy of this maintenance release free of charge, via a downloadable ZIP file that will be emailed to them by 3 May.
