Zooligans Introduces New Colllection of Soft Soled Infant Shoes for Fall ‘13

DANVERS, Mass. - April 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Danvers, MA –  Zooligans’ menagerie of animal shoes has just grown bigger by getting smaller, with its new collection of soft soled baby shoes designed for newborns to 18 month olds. As with their Pawflex toddler shoe collection just launched last spring, the Baby Zooligans Collection features a range of fun animals, but for the littlest of feet.

Baby Zooligans comes in infant sizes 1 - 4 in lamb, kitty, or piggy styles for girls and  puppy, lion or monkey styles for boys. Made from soft leather and suede,  these little booties feature a printed version of Zooligans’ signature paw print bottom. Featured design details include stitched-on ears and intricately embroidered faces that capture the playful character of each animal. Zooligans’ baby shoes have a hook and loop closure on one side and stretch gore on the other side. The bootie opens wide, making it easy to put on and take off of those wiggly feet and offers adjustability so it doesn‘t come off unless you want it to! The soft bootie serves as the perfect  foot covering  for newborns to the very first walkers, providing lightweight protection for warmth, natural breathability and ultimate flexibility.

Each pair of Zooligans shoes is tagged with the animal’s name and a fun and educational story for kids to learn about each animal’s characteristics and quirky habits.

Zooligans shoes are the brainchild of the creative team of longtime footwear designer and former toy designer Joel Rusnak and his wife and marketer Cheryl Andonian. They had the idea of designing a line of shoes from a child’s perspective that were not only fun, but functional as well.  They teamed up with longtime footwear executive, Art Rogers to form a new company, ShoeString Shoes LLC that is poised to build the Zooligans brand into the future.
