New Bern’s Akea Independent Consultant Partners with Local Fitness Center for Free Health Event

NEW BERN, N.C. - April 26, 2013 - PRLog -- On Saturday, May 11, 2013, Akea, LLC will be hosting a free event in New Bern. The purpose of this event is to introduce their longevity wellness program. Attendees will learn more about Akea’s lifestyle program called the BluePrint for Life JumpStart – 60 Days to Hot Spot Health.

The program focuses on overall wellness based on nutrition, movement, relaxation, purpose and connection. These are the 5 core principles practiced among the world’s healthy, longest living people, and the event host is looking forward to sharing this with Craven County.

“We hope everyone will come out and join us as we work to teach the community that longevity and overall great health is due to much more than just diet and exercise alone” explains Tamara Stanley, independent consultant of Akea. She says, “It’s about lifestyle!”

The host sponsor, Eliza Fitness—New Bern (http://www.elizafitness.com)  will also offer free Zumba classes throughout the event day. “Akea is excited to be working with Eliza Fitness to help provide a winning option for people interested in living longer and healthier lives,” says Monica C. The event will be held at Eliza Fitness--New Bern located at 2684 Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd from 10:00 am--2:00 pm. Free Zumba classes, and other health samples will be given to participants.
