 Office Divvy Receives Grant from Flagler County Chamber of CommerceCoworking space provider located in Palm Coast, FL received grant for additional coworking and hotdesking space conversion.
By: Office Divvy Office Divvy, a Palm Coast based provider of office and co-working space solutions, is the latest recipient of the small business grant awarded from the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce and Associates. The grant program reimburses businesses up to $500 for minor exterior and interior enhancements. The funding is sponsored and presented by the individual affiliate Chambers of Commerce in the cities of Bunnell, Flagler Beach, Palm Coast, and Central Florida. Office Divvy was given the grant to convert one of their existing offices into a productive and dynamic space featuring two additional coworking and two hotdesking stations at their West Pointe Plaza, Palm Coast location. The total cost to remodel and revamp the room was about $2,000. The room now features two dedicated stations with phone lines for inbound and outbound calling, ample storage, and additional shared meeting room allocation. It also includes two hot-desking stations, which now complements and supplements the existing coworking lounge. This new space will present members with the option to choose between a more social, open workspace and a more concentrated space with privacy. Office Divvy co-founder and managing partner Ky Ekinci said: “We are grateful to be associated with one of the strongest chambers in the Nation. Flagler County’s Chamber of Commerce leadership understands how to support small business and entrepreneurship in our area. Aside from terrific programs like this grant, they also are an excellent advocate for small business causes and a tremendous positive influence on policy makers at the County and City levels.” The maximum reimbursement amount of $500 was approved by the Palm Coast Chamber of Commerce, making the effective reimbursement rate 25% for the work done. Auburn Homes, a local contractor and Flagler chamber member, was used to reconstruct the office.
