Local Business Products Headed to Hollywood for Mother's Day

SEATTLE - April 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Many small businesses dream of getting their products into the hands of the stars but for one Seattle business, the dream has become a reality.  Black Diamond Celebrity Gifting Division's Mother's Day in Hollywood Event was a selective event to celebrate motherhood among some of our favorite celebrity Moms.  This event provided lavish gift baskets to Natalie Portman, Christina Applegate, Melissa Joan Hart, Hillary Duff, and Jessica Alba.  Festivity Designs, LLC provided fashionable sets of Sassy Wrapz for each of the moms.

"For as long as I can remember I've always had an interest in fashion and design, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit.  I merged the two together and Festivity Designs was founded out of my desire to create unique and whimsical pieces of jewelry.  I spent years as a glass bead artist, using a torch in a process called lampworking, and created a popular line that was on the market for several years.  After burning myself out (no pun intended), I decided to take time off to focus on raising my son and being a stay-at-home-mom.  I found myself approaching a milestone birthday in the summer of 2010, and also facing the reality of my only child going off to college in the not too distant future, and becoming an "empty-nester".  I began searching for a new passion and an avenue to fill the creative void that I'd been missing.  This timing also coincided with the worst recession in our country's history and as our economy continued to steadily decline, it became increasingly important to me to introduce a line that was affordable yet still hip and fun.  There began the journey that led me to my current venture."
