Mountaintop Acupuncture Announces Relocation to South Metro Denver

LITTLETON, Colo. - April 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Mountaintop Acupuncture has relocated its practice from New York City to a new location in South Metro Denver. Their practice is now located at Highlands Ranch Medical Pavilion, 8671 S Quebec Street, Suite 220, Littleton, CO 80130, just south of C470. Mountaintop sees patients Monday through Wednesday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. - 7 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., and can be reached at (303) 586-6525.

Owned by husband-and-wife team Tom Messina and Carol Braverman – licensed acupuncturists who have a combined 30-plus years of experience – Mountaintop treats patients with acupuncture, massage therapy, and the many modalities that are part of the scope of their practice.

The practitioners are dedicated to finding the root cause of the problem, so that patients experience a change for the better and are given tools – mainly diet, exercise, and lifestyle awareness – to continue on their own. Mountaintop commonly treats fertility and gynecological disorders and sports-related conditions, and everything in between, including stress and anxiety, headaches, allergies, sinus pressure, and more.

Mountaintop is now part of a group of alternative medicine practices within Highlands Ranch Medical Pavilion – a medical complex of M.D.s – and adjacent to a satellite location of National Jewish Hospital, known for allergy and respiratory treatment. The medical pavilion is located just minutes away from Park Meadows Mall and the Denver Tech Center.

“Passion for living a healthy lifestyle led me to a career in healthcare in New York for the last 28 years. To take that healthy lifestyle to a new level, my wife and I have chosen to live in Colorado,” says Tom Messina, LAc, MS, DiplOM, LMT.

Tom Messina is a licensed acupuncturist  and massage therapist, and a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He has a M.S. of Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, a degree in Massage Therapy from the Swedish Institute, and a certification in CranioSacral Therapy from the Upledger Institute.

“It is a privilege to implement this multi-faceted medicine and witness its amazing results. In a nutshell, our style of Eastern practice is through our biomedical, Western lens,” says Carol Braverman, LAc, MS, DiplOM.

Carol Braverman is also a licensed acupuncturist and a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She has a M.S. and B.S. from Touro College’s Graduate Program in Oriental Medicine, and a B.A. in philosophy and English from Union College. Braverman is certified in the treatment of oncology by the Integrative Medicine Service division of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, among other credentials.
