“It’s a hard life for independent artists these days, we know that,” says Claudio Gallo, Music Manager. “That’s why we’re always trying our best to support up-and-coming musicians by every means. One of the most important parts of our job is to acknowledge the talent and work together to make the best out of it.”

About Stereomood

Stereomood
is a streaming music service that aggregates tracks from over 150 blogs and music sites from across the web and curates them into freely accessible playlists. These resulting playlists are tagged with topics or ‘moods’ such as ‘Relax’, ‘Beach Party’, ‘Sunday Morning’ or ‘Night Drive’, offering the perfect accompanying soundtrack from new and independent artists, whatever your activity or mood may be. Community members are also able to submit their own music to the service and share their customized lists with fellow users. In this way, Stereomood also acts as an innovative channel for up-and-coming musicians to get their music heard first by the kind of tastemakers and fans who will most appreciate their sounds.

Founded in March 2009 by four former MTV Italy staff, Stereomood was first created as a side project experiment in how to arrange, listen to and discover new independent music. Now attracting over one million unique users per month, Stereomood is also available in mobile app format for iOS and Android devices, available for free from the App Store and via Google Play. The company currently employs seven members of staff, operating out of its Rome, Italy headquarters.
