Ronald Parker Kick Starts New Book “Chiefs, Pawns & Warriors” on Kickstarter.com

By: Ronald Parker

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - April 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Ron Parker, retired NY firefighter, kick started his first book, “Chiefs, Pawns & Warriors” with a Kickstarter.com Campaign on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. With 7.5 years in the making, Parker’s book unfolds a remarkable personal account as a first responder to the events surrounding the NY September 11, 2001 attacks and describes how to live a life that Never Forgets the past when building our future.
While the story does talk about him, Parker’s mission for the book goes far beyond himself. Parker’s vision is to use his story to help people break through the impossible events of life, claim their truth, and begin to move forward.  Walk with him down the silent and ash covered streets of Ground Zero within hours of the Twin Towers falling. Fight beside him as his strength and hope fades away with the passing of each month spent recovering the bodies and artifacts of the loved ones lost on that day. Stand with him as he learns to make sense of his future by making sure that he will Never Forget to honor the past.
Parker’s Kickstarter.com Campaign is an invitation to every person who understands the power of the past to guide our future to back this book. By backing Chiefs, Pawns & Warriors, you will be standing to show that no matter what event happened in your life, or what your role was, be it a chief or a pawn, it is still possible to come out a warrior.
Since September 11, 2011, Ronald Parker has served as a docent at Ground Zero and has spoken at various fundraisers on the events anniversaries. His fight to make sure that we Never Forget did not begin with this book, but it will be officially launched with this book.
Visit Kickstarter.com today and search for “Ronald Parker” to be part of the team who brings this story to life. The campaign ends on Tuesday, May 7, 2013.
