Top real estate names join together: Moorings Park & Grey Oaks announce intent to build country club

April 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Plans for Naples’ newest residential community, Moorings Park at Grey Oaks, were announced today. Designed for retirement living with a focus on wellness, the project is a collaborative effort between two of Southwest Florida’s most prominent names in real estate.

Dan Lavender, Moorings Park’s CEO, and Katie Sproul, CEO of Halstatt LLC, have submitted preliminary plans to the City of Naples to develop the 16-acre parcel of land at the intersection of Airport Pulling Road and Golden Gate Parkway near The Estuary at Grey Oaks in the heart of Naples. Both have teamed up with Armando Codina and Jim Carr of CC Devco, a well-known Coral Gables-based real estate investment and development firm.

Embracing the surrounding natural beauty, Moorings Park at Grey Oaks will be set amid lush landscaping and will consist of 96 luxurious garden homes, a multi-featured clubhouse and two resort-style pools.  Blending a country club lifestyle with the security of quality healthcare, the 14-building community will encompass 12 residential buildings, a state-of-the-art assisted living facility/memory care center and clubhouse.

Mediterranean-inspired architecture will emphasize elegant courtyards and oversized lanais.  Spacious floor plans offer private elevator vestibule entries with great room, adjoining kitchen, volume ceilings and a spacious master bedroom with walk-in closets.

At Moorings Park’s main campus, residents can benefit from the fitness and wellness services at The Center for Healthy Living, including an onsite primary care physician and licensed professional staff specializing in Geriatrics.  Residents of Moorings Park at Grey Oaks will also have priority access to The Chateau, a Medicare certified, five-star rated skilled nursing facility.

Residents will be welcome at the popular Trio Restaurant and the Bower Chapel activities and concert series.  Plans are in the works for residences in the new community to be equipped with the most advanced interactive telemedicine technology enabling health monitoring and continuing care at home.
