A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours Partners With WestJet Airlines' New Shuttle From Toronto To LaGuardia

Tour company’s popular Pizza Tour to be featured on WestJet’s in-flight "Culinary Adventures" video series in honor of their new shuttle from Toronto to LaGuardia.
BROOKLYN, N.Y. - April 25, 2013 - PRLog -- A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours (http://asliceofbrooklyn.com/) has partnered up with WestJet Airlines to film a segment aboard their wildly popular Brooklyn Pizza Tour in honor of WestJet's new shuttle from Toronto to LaGuardia.

The video, which features owner/operator Tony Muia and WestJet's "Culinary Adventures" hostess Katie Love Hess, will be shown on a monthly rotation on all of WestJet's aircraft (currently 102 planes) flying all over their network, not just to LaGuardia.

Started in August 2005, A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour is the only Brooklyn-based bus tour of Brooklyn's favorite food, neighborhoods, landmarks and famous movie locations. It's been featured on the Today Show, the Travel Channel and the Food Network and is currently the #1 tour of Brooklyn on Tripadvisor. Best of all, all tours depart from Manhattan.

"I had so much fun working with Katie and the entire WestJet production crew" says Muia. "It was probably one of the best segments we've ever done about the tour and the crew was so easy to work with. The end result is visually stunning and absolutely professional."

Adds Muia, "There's no denying that this is huge exposure for us.  In fact we've already seen an increase in sales because of it, which is no surprise when you consider the fact that WestJet's new shuttle from Toronto to LaGuardia flies eight times daily Monday through Friday, three times daily on Saturdays and five flights daily on Sundays."

"Canada has always been a great market for us but this will just expose us to more folks traveling to NYC and let them know that they have something fun to do in Brooklyn when they get here."

A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours is the only Brooklyn-based company in NYC offering guided bus tours of Brooklyn's favorite foods, unique neighborhoods, historic landmarks and famous movie locations through its Pizza Tour, Neighborhood Tour and Christmas Lights & Cannoli Tour. All tours start and end in Manhattan and are given by licensed NYC tour guides from Brooklyn.
