Likewise, Aegis Energy will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the project. Through an agreement for sharing the energy savings with the host site, Aegis is able to amortize the capital and operating cost of the equipment. The energy analysis of the proposed system at 25 Tudor City projects an annual energy savings that makes this unique program viable. The Aegis Energy Services CHP system will provide 47 percent of the building’s DHW thermal requirement and 34 percent of its electrical load. Tudor City takes its name from England’s Tudor Dynasty.
