Grove Dodge Celebrates Chrysler Canada’s Return to Leasing
Chrysler Canada Inc. has announced that after a five year sabbatical they will now jump back into the competitive market of leasing.

Chrysler will join the sea of automakers offering lease incentives, which make up approximately 23 percent of the Canadian vehicle deliveries in 2012. This figure is up from the 6 percent in 2009, but nowhere close to the 40 percent leasing peak of 2007. As the lease option fizzled out in 2008, many auto dealers lengthened loan terms in order to ensure lower monthly payments and satisfied customers. Many dealerships have also opted to offer interest-free loans of at least six or seven years to encourage customers seeking a new vehicle purchase.
As the vital spring selling season is now in full swing at dealerships throughout Canada, Chrysler has reported an increase in sales for the months of January and February. As they move to offer leasing incentives, specials will include one to five year lease plans with payments that can be made weekly or twice a month. One such example would be the option to lease a 2013 Dodge Dart (http://www.grovedodgechrysler.com/
Due to the fact that Chrysler does not own a separate financing company through which it might offer leases and loans, financing will be made available via a relationship between Chrysler and Westminster Savings Credit Union of New Westminster, B.C., which has had a leasing arm in place since 1996.
