Text-to-Remind: The absolute fastest way to schedule a reminder
Cronote's new Text-to-Remind service is dead simple. Just text a reminder (e.g. Buy milk at 5 pm) to 623-432-0000. Cronote will text you back the same message at the designated time. It's the absolute fastest way to schedule a reminder, it works with any cell phone, and it's free.
Cronote is also able to handle a variety of time formats such as "5:00 pm", "5 pm", "5pm", and even just "5". The simplest example of a reminder to buy milk at 5:00 pm would be "milk 5". Text-to-Remind was designed to minimize the time needed to schedule a reminder. Here are some examples of quick reminders:
• Pay rent on May 1st
• Parking meter expires in two hours
• Pick up dry cleaning at 3:45 pm
Text-to-Remind is a completely free service. To try it out, just send a reminder to (623) 432-0000. Cronote will first ask for a time zone, this is needed only once to ensure reminders are sent at the correct time. Once a time zone has been set, all future reminders will use this zone. To change time zones in the future, text "change time zone." Cronote confirms each reminder with a simple message (e.g. Reminder set for today at 5:00 pm).
Cronote is actively working to extend the capabilities of the Text-to-Remind service. Future updates will enable cancellation of reminders and sending reminders to others. It is Cronote's long-term goal to enable users to view their Text-to-Remind reminders on Cronote's website along with Cronote's other reminder services.
