Follow on Google News | Leading pension and benefits experts all to appear at same eventReleased today, the conference programme for the Pensions and Benefits Show 2013 is packed with sessions from key speakers representing all areas of workplace pensions, benefits and employee reward.
By: Incisive Media Steve Webb MP, Minister of State for Pensions, starts the event with a keynote address on Wednesday 12 June. Day two will begin with a session from Michael O’Higgins, Chairman of The Pensions Regulator. Designed so visitors to the show can discuss the pension and employee benefit challenges UK businesses are currently facing and find out about all the latest thinking, techniques and solutions, the programme includes a combination of seminars, workshops, keynotes and employer/scheme case study sessions. The conference streams have been cleverly put together to enable pension managers, scheme trustees, finance directors, compensation and benefit managers and HR directors to all benefit from attending the same event: · ‘Highlights for HR’ and ‘Benefits & Reward Strategies’ look at topics such as integrating benefit and reward technology, effective use of total reward, benefiting from salary sacrifice, managing the cost of group risk and healthcare and the importance of financial education. · The ‘Focus on Finance’ stream includes a session from the Financial Reporting Council about shareholder engagement and one focusing on how to measure and achieve ROI on your benefits spend. · The full range of pension scheme issues - including funding, investment, liability reduction, auto-enrolment, administration, defined contribution (DC), defined ambition and communication - are covered across several streams including ‘Pension Scheme Picks’, ‘Scheme & Trustee Tips and an in-depth focus on investment and DC.
