Flagler Dental Associates Expands Hours

Palm Coast, FL –Flagler Dental Associates is pleased to announce that they have expanded their hours.

The South office, located at 97 Flagler Plaza Drive next to Woody’s BBQ, is now open until 8:00 pm every third Wednesday of the month. In addition, both offices, previously closed on Friday’s, are now open from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

“We realize that it’s more convenient for some of our patients to schedule their dental appointments outside of traditional dental office hours,” said Dr. Ryan Smith, Flagler Dental Associates partner, and the dentist that will be working late on Wednesdays. “We want to make it as easy as possible for our patients to get their regular check-ups to maintain good oral and dental hygiene and health,” Smith added.

Regular dental checkups not only prevent larger future dental problems, but they can save time and money over the long term since small problems are more easily, and less costly, taken care of if caught early. Regular dental checkups have also been known to save lives. Each year, around 300,000 new cases of oral cancer are diagnosed worldwide. Oral cancer is curable when found and treated early, however, the symptoms often go unnoticed. Small - many times painless - bumps, spots, or ulcers on the inside of your cheeks, lips, or throat are common indicators of early oral cancer that a dentist checks for.

A regular dental checkup once every six months is recommended to preserve healthy teeth and gums.
