Volunteers Taking Long-Acting Insulin to Receive Free Medication and Testing

ESCONDIDO, Calif. - April 19, 2013 - PRLog -- AMCR Institute (https://www.amcrinstitute.com/) is conducting a research study using a new investigational medication to treat people with type 2 diabetes who are currently using long-acting insulin.

         Dr. Timothy Bailey, MD, the Institute’s director, said, “We are seeking patients who are currently on medication to treat their type 2 diabetes and who want to try a newly developed medicine that may improve the quality of their treatment and the quality of their life.”

         Participants must be at least 18 years old and using long-acting insulin to treat their type 2 diabetes.  Qualified volunteers will receive all study-related medications, physical examinations, laboratory tests and electrocardiograms at no cost, and may be compensated for their time and travel.
