Michelle Harding releases “Laughing Silent, Dancing Still” to thunderous applause!

LOS ANGELES - April 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Michelle Harding is a recording artist and songwriter who is originally from Toronto, Canada.  She moved to New York City on scholarship to attend The American Musical & Dramatic Academy.  She later migrated to Los Angeles as part of her first graduating class on the west coast.  One way to describe her music is looking at both sides of a coin.  Her music may taunt her audience with sweet nothings before shifting gears and diving head first into a tempestuous reality check that creates a glorious balance between the light and the dark.  

This style of writing and arrangements has quickly built a following as her dynamic vocals take you into this storyline.  She can also be heard singing a French song for the jeweler Tacori one moment and harmonizing in opera for Rickard’s Red the next.  Her placement in a Credit Canada commercial led to her first single “Two Scoops” released by Universal Music Group.    

Michelle Harding’s latest release “Laughing Silent, Dancing Still” has been getting incredible reviews.  Her single “Each Piece Down” leads the way as the storyline takes you into the realm of self control.  The premise is to remain calm in a moment of extreme anger as she is forced to eat in order to survive.  Being able to hold in that type of anger preserving your energy for when you really need it is a test for any human being.   In this instance, it is told through a myriad of emotions delivered through vocal dynamics.  This single is representative of the overall mood of the CD showing versatility, creativity and consistency.  Her music is exhilarating, refreshing and is a definite ‘must buy’.
