Judge Issues Award for Imbesi Christensen Client Represented by Attorney Brittany Weiner

NEW YORK - April 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Attorney Brittany Weiner, an associate of the law firm Imbesi Christensen, successfully represented an employee who was denied unemployment benefits.

The Honorable Rachelle Rosenberg issued an award, in favor of the firm's client, after an in-person hearing was conducted.  The decision overruled a determination by the Department of Labor that the employee was not entitled to unemployment insurance benefits because she voluntarily left her employment without good cause.  

Specifically, the decision set forth the following:

DECISION: The initial determinations, disqualifying the claimant from receiving benefits effective August 14, 2012, on the basis that the claimant voluntarily separated from employment without good cause...are overruled.

The claimant is allowed benefits with respect to the issues decided herein
