TORONTO - April 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Brand Momentum Inc (http://www.brandmomentum.ca/)., known for its world-class Sales and Marketing campaigns and named one of Canada’s 100 Best Places to Work® in 2012, has designed a new office space, which was created with its employees in mind. Brand Momentum is sharing their tips on how to make an office stress free with custom-designed spaces that help employees ‘create’, ‘share’, and ‘inspire’ new ideas.  The office not only mirrors its corporate culture – fun, exciting, creative – but also inspires a productive work environment.

“We wanted a space that spoke volumes about who we are as a company and attributed each member of our family,” says Hesham Shafie, CEO of Brand Momentum Inc. “The workplace is where you spend most hours of the week, and our goal was to create an environment that our family members not only felt comfortable in, but wanted to be part of.”

Some of Brand Momentum’s tips and tricks on how to make your office a stress-free and productive work environment include:

·         Have open workspaces:  Brand Momentum employees are spread out on one floor, which is an open concept separated by cubicle coves. This allows team members to engage with one another or opt to work individually.

·         Post inspirational quotes, sayings and photos around the office:  Brand Momentum incorporates memory walls (eclectic framed photos, quotes and artwork) – which help inspire team members while working.

·         Paint the office in calming colours:  Brand Momentum uses light green, grey and white.  These colours help create a serene environment in the office.

·         Make an inviting lunchroom:  Brand Momentum’s kitchen space is decorated to be business in the back, fun in the front – including a reclaimed wood table made from a barn door partnered with a contemporary, steel-grey velvet bench and eclectic chairs. The kitchen also features an inspirational memory wall, a vintage drink cart, modern appliances and patio access.

·         Bring the indoors outdoors:  Brand Momentum has two patios which have BBQs and seating.  Employees can grab their laptop and work outdoors or barbecue a hamburger over lunch.

·         Snacks, snacks, and more snacks:  Brand Momentum has healthy snacks in their kitchen; grab a banana or an apple for an afternoon snack en route to your desk.

·         Meeting room with a dual purpose:  Brand Momentum created a room for meetings which is also a room for activities – work hard, play hard. The small meeting space is complete with a comfy white leather couch, LCD television for presentations, videos or the occasional XBOX game, vintage chairs, a guitar for creative outlet and patio access.

The office decor is a hybrid of modern and vintage elements, showcasing the innovative nature of the company. Executed by Brand Momentum’s own Jillian Bowman, mastermind and creative director of  Experiential Marketing and Live Events, the office incorporates custom wood furniture used from recycled materials that Bowman had designed. To evoke the “goodness” model that is at the core of everything Brand Momentum does – the philanthropic work integrated into all campaigns and initiatives – a graffiti mural of the term was painted to act as constant inspiration for the team.

Designergy constructed the office from scratch – starting with four walls of concrete – and developed a new home for Brand Momentum that met the company’s daily needs while implementing new elements that would bring everyone closer together. The space was designed to include personal workspaces in addition to common areas and small coves, so individuals or groups can move to adjust the scenery. Added features included unique Japanese laminate flooring with embedded, specially-installed technology that buffers out sound and minimizes noise. Frameless glass panels were also installed in the boardrooms and office front to allow the natural light to penetrate further and create a brighter space.
