Debater to Advocate Superiority of Help-U-Sell® Real Estate’s Flat-Fee Business Model

SARASOTA, Fla. - April 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Which real estate business model is superior: one that charges a flat fee or a percentage commission? Help-U-Sell Bay Beach Realty broker/owner Dan Desmond will argue for the flat-fee business model in a sold-out debate in New Jersey next Thursday. His opponent is Scott Einbinder, a veteran real estate salesperson and consultant.

Help-U-Sell Real Estate has practiced the flat-fee business model since 1976. Company founder Don Taylor thought the idea that consumers paid high commissions, based on the sale price of a home and not on the actual cost of marketing the home, could be improved upon.

The debate will be held at the Clarion Hotel in Toms River, N.J., and the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity.
