The International Handicrafts Trade Fair has taken place in Florence in spring since 1931. In the very central fortress called Fortezza da Basso, the Trade Fair is the place where culture and art, artisan tradition and new creative flairs meet and take shape to become unique.

Dal 1931 in piena primavera si svolge a Firenze la Mostra Internazionale dell'Artigianato. Da anni ormai nella centralissima sede della Fortezza da Basso, la Mostra è il luogo dove cultura e arte, tradizione artigiana e nuove creatività si incontrano e prendono forma per diventare esclusività.
Ma cosa si può vedere e soprattutto acquistare? Abbigliamento e accessori, arredamento e complementi, gioielli, argenteria, oggettistica e articoli da regalo, enogastronomia: prodotti artigianali tipici, tra ispirazioni etniche e forme classiche dell'handmade, fino agli antichi sapori della tradizione. Oggetti "fatti" da artigiani italiani (rappresentate tutte le regioni) ma anche stranieri, dai quattro angoli del mondo: Ogni anno un paese ospite, questa edizione la Tailandia.The International Exhibit of Handicraft has taken place in Florence, during springtime, since 1931. The Exhibit, mounted in the very central Fortezza da Basso, has been the place where culture and art, master craftsmanship and new creativity meet and create uniqueness

There is a reason why visitors have crowded the exhibition spaces for 77 years. People travel around the world and learn about the streets of beauty at Fortezza da Basso, for what can be sold and, especially, purchased.

Many artisans will be present, coming from 50 foreign countries besides Italy.

Clothing and accessories, furniture and furnishing accessories, jewelry, silverware, gift items gifts and fancy goods, wine and food: traditional craft products, between ethnic inspiration and classic hand-made forms, up to the old flavors of tradition.

Every year there is a special guest country and VIETNAM will be the special guest of this edition.
