Chad Moss named to HANDY Board of Directors

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - April 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Chad Moss named to HANDY Board of Directors

Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Moss & Associates is pleased to announce that Senior Vice President Chad Moss has been named to the board of directors of HANDY, a 27-year Broward County nonprofit organization that serves more than 1,300 at-risk children by providing comprehensive programs focusing on education, youth development and economic self-sufficiency.

Moss was honored as a “HANDY Hero” at the organization’s signature dinner and golf tournament, known as “Kathie's Classic,” on March 1.

“HANDY is among the most effective organizations that encourage kids to overcome obstacles to become committed, productive adults,” Moss said. “My family has been involved HANDY for a number of years, and I am proud to a part of this dynamic team.”

Earlier this year Moss & Associates assisted HANDY with the remodeling of the organization’s headquarters and a youth recreation room at 301 NE Eighth Street in Fort Lauderdale. The improvements included a remodeled recreation room for after-school activities, as well as significant repairs for mechanical systems, new carpet, new paint and donated furniture.

As senior vice president and project executive for Moss & Associates, Moss is involved in an array of projects at all stages, including preconstruction, buyout, scheduling and contract management. Recently Moss initiated a marketing and branding effort for Moss Custom Homes, promoting sustainability and new technology in the industry.

Chad earned a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from Florida International University, where he serves on the Foundation’s Board of Directors. He is a member of the Construction Association of South Florida and the Associated Builders and Contractors Florida East Coast Chapter.
