On May 3, 2013, just in time for summer, Christian Martin Cosmetics will have available its Botanical Skin Care line. I was given a trial kit to try and it is amazing. The trial kit consisted of a cleanser, exfoliator, toner, firmer and a moisturizer.  The Cleansing lotion I mixed with the exfoliator; I need to exfoliate daily. The results; my skin stayed moisturized throughout the day and I did not get the icky feel after I used the cleansers and moisturizers. My skin is beginning to get a natural glow after 1 week of this product.

Botanical refers to the natural ingredients derived from plants that are beneficial to skin and are non-allergic. A few ingredients are Aloe Vera, Avocado oil, Grape Seed Extract and cucumber extracts are just a few of the ingredients. Christian Martin Cosmetics Botanical Skin Care is a great skin care regime especially if you are concerned about harsh detergent and sulfates on the skin.

The Botanical Cleansing Lotion is a gentle mild foaming cleanser derived from Coconut and Sugar Beets. It also contains Chamomile, Aloe, Cucumber and Japanese Green Tea to tighten, soothe and deliver antioxidants. The Japanese Green Tea reports to prevent free radicals from damaging cell structures further. The fragrance is very soothing and clean. The texture is silky smooth. After applying, there was no residue.

The Mint Exfoliating Facial Polish is a gentle face polish ingredients derived from sugar for a mild deep cleanse. It also contain Aloe Vera, lemon, green tea, and seaweed. The Seaweed is the secret to super nutrition.  The Seaweed restores moisture levels, revitalizes and firms the skin. It is known to give skin a healthy glow, when used in a powder form it exfoliates and is good for facemasks. It removes surface impurities and toxins. After applying, I felt a deep clean, tingles and hydration.

The Botanical Firming Toner is by far the best I ever used. It contains Aloe Vera, Chamomile, and Japanese Green Tea. The ingredients help to rejuvenate the skin and the cucumber extract to tighten pores and promote skin firmness.  I felt an immediate tighten to my skin.

The Firming Face ad Eye Serum is an oil free, multi-benefit serum that improves the skin appearance. It helps to prevent visible signs of aging. Specifically, reducing dark circles under eyes as well as firming and tightening the entire eye area.  I have only used this product for 5 days, I saw little results (great for eye bags) but I have purchased the full size and I can measure the results from there.

The Botanical Face cream with deep line complex is a velvety, emollient cream for skin that requires oils without a greasy feel. It contains grape seed oil, jojoba, Green Tea, African Shea Butter and Antioxidant Vitamin E. This skin restore is “Revolutionary”.  It keeps my skin from drying and flaking. I used it twice per day and have not looked back at any other moisturizers since.

Eczema is a chronic skin condition in which the skin becomes itchy, reddened, cracked and dry. The solution should be moisturizing which leads to hydration.
