Follow on Google News | The Phoenix Insurance Is Victorious In Del MarOn the first trip with their DIVCO Lightning, classic auto insurance specialists The Phoenix Insurance were selected to win an award at the 2013 GoodGuys Del Mar Nationals in Del Mar California.
The Phoenix Insurance is a different sort of insurance agency, so being awarded the "Dare To Be Different" award meant much more than being given an award based on the number of miles driven. The Phoenix Insurance philosphy of client education and guidance is much different than most independent agencies, and despite some industry and local recognition for the quality of their insurance work, the GoodGuys award means a lot to the agents at The Phoenix Insurance. "This DIVCO Lightning was a labor of love; we knew that there are lots of sedan delivery vehicles and restored panel wagons out there in the classic car circuit. Instead of building a more common vehicle, we decided to be different, just as we are in business, and it has paid off in a big way." said Aaron Husman, agency principal. "We hope this is the first of many awards for our DIVCO, and helps to establish us in the California Classic car insurance market in a big way.". The Award Winning Phoenix Insurance DIVCO Lightning will be out and about Dallas car shows for the next month, and will be headed to Springfield, MO over Memorial Day weekend for the The Phoenix Insurance, whose World Headquarters is in Dallas, recently built a unique vehicle to help promote their classic auto insurance business, and it was recently awarded the "Dare To Be Different" award at the 2013 GoodGuys Del Mar nationals. The vehicle they built is a 1955 DIVCO milk truck; to make an interesting vehicle even better, they built it on a 1994 Ford Lightning frame. Originally, the vechicle was built to be a semi-mobile billboard to advertise The Phoenix Insurance, with intentions to occasionally drive it to local auto shows. However, after getting the DIVCO Lightning in their possesion six months after the project started, plans quickly changed to include a trip to a large national classic car show in California, since The Phoenix Insurance had recently expanded operations into the Golden State. The truck was loaded with all of the various goods used for promotion at car shows, and The Phoenix was on the road in a 58 year old milk truck. After two and a half days of driving (and six border patrol checkpoints) The Phoenix Insurance DIVCO Lightning will be out and about Dallas for a while, and the next national show it will appear at is the 2013 NSRA Mid-America Street Rod Nationals Plus over Memorial Day weekend in Springfield, MO.
