JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - April 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Delaware-licensed dietitians/nutritionists have a biennial license renewal with a May 31st deadline, odd years. Thirty (30) hours of continuing education are required to renew a license every two years. Of the thirty hours, fifteen (15) hours are allowed from home study. Newly licensed dietitians and nutritionists will want to refer to the Delaware Board of Dietetics and Nutrition for additional continuing education and licensing information.

The main purpose of continuing education is to ensure the highest possible standards for the dietitian/nutritionist professions. All licensees are required to participate in continuing education as a licensing requirement.
