Community Care College awards $1000 to Glenpool High School in Social Media Contest

TULSA, Okla. - April 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Tulsa, Okla., (April 15, 2013) – Community Care College (CCC) president Dr. Kevin Kirk hand delivered a check for $1000 to Glenpool High School social studies teacher Kenzie Royce today as part of the college’s ongoing #ClassroomRemix campaign, awarding local high schools.

“[It’s] fun playing santa,” said Kirk. “It was great to meet Mrs. Royce along with some of her students. I know she will be purchasing one or two iPads with the money to utilize more available resource for her students. Congratulations!”

Royce was selected winner after submitting a photo of her classroom to CCC and their branch campuses, Clary Sage College (CSC) and Oklahoma Technical College (OTC), on Instagram and Twitter.

The colleges are awarding a new classroom every month; entries are currently being accepted for April. Students, teachers and staff of any Oklahoma high school are encouraged to enter by submitting a photo of their classroom to @commcarecollege on twitter.
