UAP Acquires New Author Jon D. Bennett

April 16, 2013 - PRLog -- (New York, NY – April 16, 2013) – UAP has acquired Jon D. Bennett as a new member of the UAP family. Executive Editor April Sheris negotiated the deal. The book, titled“The Nehemiah Blueprint”, is slated to publish in July 2013.

“The Nehemiah Blueprint” was birthed out of a sincere concern for the betterment of urban communities. The biblical account of Nehemiah tells about the passion of a man who received a vision from God to rebuild the city of Jerusalem years after the walls had been torn down and the people had been taken into captivity. In “The Nehemiah Blueprint” the Jon D. Bennett presents principles gleaned from the biblical account of Nehemiah as a “blueprint” for beginning to confront some of the issues we encounter in our own back yards.

“The Nehemiah Blueprint” is presented in two phases. In the first phase, the author identifies some of the “walls” that have been destroyed in our communities. He also addresses how to begin the process of rebuilding them through vision, passion, and cooperation. In the second phase, he addresses the necessity of rebuilding the people. It’s impossible to rebuild lasting change until the mindsets and mentalities of people change. God’s method for rebuilding the minds of people is through revival.

This book is a must have for pastors, church leaders, Bible teachers, and laypersons who are believing God to “move” in their neighborhoods. “Many books have been written to address the issues in urban communities. Why ‘reinvent the wheel’ when God has given us a blueprint?” says Jon.

About The Author

Jon Daniel Bennett was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He serves in various capacities in the community, but finds the most joy and fulfillment in serving as the pastor of Belfair Baptist Church. Jon is passionate about leading people to experience authentic life change by applying the Word of God to their lives. He is a graduate of Andersonville Theological Seminary, with a degree in Biblical Studies.

Jon currently resides in Baker, Louisiana with his wife, Naomi and three kids, Cameron, Daniel, and Sarah. His favorite Bible verse is Galatians 2:20 which says, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
