GLEN BURNIE, Md. - April 16, 2013 - PRLog -- On April 15, 2012 Lynn Nichols Real Estate settled a house in Glen Burnie. Her seller Hank came to her to list the house back in February and they had it in the market for approximately 20 days when his daughter decided she would like to buy it. Knowing that a Realtor cannot represent both sides we talked to Lynn about how she went about taking care of the whole transaction. Lynn said " I have done this several times, in this case the seller was my client and with the daughter she is a customer. I do help the daughter with making up the contract, and giving her different numbers for lenders, title companies, etc.  but in doing this you have to be very careful and be sure that you have an addendum that you as a Realtor represent the seller and not the buyer. Of course with this being a father and daughter it makes it so much easier."

We ask Lynn was there any kind of family friction, Lynn replied "not at all, in fact after settlement I went to go get my lockbox and there is her father changing all the locks and at that time I could talk to her more; she was telling me what colors she was picking out for paints and the great thing is her father was calling his contractors to do the work."  His contractors we ask "well Hank the dad is an investor and this was his last investment property in Maryland."

Lynn also informed us that after buying her house she is now thinking about getting into Real Estate as a Realtor and Lynn informed us she is going to be helping her with that.
