WASHINGTON, Conn. - April 16, 2013 - PRLog -- “Love & Ceremony ~ Wedding Music” is the inviting title of the just-released CD by classical music composer and pianist, Sharon Ruchman of Washington, Connecticut, (www.sharonruchman.com).  “A wedding is a couple’s special day,” stated Ruchman. “Often they desire wedding ceremony music that is unique and memorable for themselves and their honored guests. All of my compositions are original, so it is often music few other marrying couples have integrated into their wedding ceremony. My belief is that because it is original music, it will innately stand out, and the wedding couple and their guests will long remember the music of the ceremony.”

An accomplished and prolific classical music composer, in 2012, Sharon Ruchman released her fourth CD of original music, “Textures”. The year prior, she released her third self-composed CD, “Remembrance”. In 2010 she released “Arrival of Spring”, and in 2009, she released her first CD titled “Sharon Ruchman Chamber Music” featuring “Sea Glass”. “The music in me is fluid and continual,” she commented. “My fourth CD, ‘Textures’, was a natural creative flow that began with the culmination of my third CD, ’Remembrance’. It all began with my very first endeavor into composing original music back in 2009.”

In 2011, when being interviewed for a feature story in Fanfare magazine, the reporter told her she was unique to their magazine’s coverage in that she is both an accomplished musician/pianist and a composer of classical music. Written and published exclusively for the avid classical CD collector and music aficionado, Fanfare magazine features extensive interviews with classical music composers and performers. In January 2012, an extensive personal interview with Ruchman was featured in the magazine which included positive reviews of her first two CDs, “Sharon Ruchman Chamber Music” and “Arrival of Spring”. In May of 2012, a second review was published for her third CD, “Remembrance”.

In recent YouTube videos Ruchman recorded for the release of her CD ‘Textures’, she speaks about the “qualities and textures of music”. She explains, “Like woven fabrics, music has melodies and harmonies that weave in and out of a piece giving it a certain pattern of interest. My intent, in each of my CDs, is to create pieces that offer different instrumentation. For the first time, in my ‘Textures’ CD, I created a violin and cello duet. Two stringed instruments playing together convey to the listener a feeling of warmth, lushness, and emotion.”

Sharon Ruchman’s just-released “Love & Ceremony ~ Wedding Music” CD features instrumental music from all of her original music CDs. The combination of these carefully-selected tracks offers a distinctive element for creating the perfect romantic tone for a wedding day. On her website, she advises purchasers of her CD to “Use the music on this album as a compilation of prelude, processional and recessional wedding music throughout your entire ceremony. Or play the CD to greet your guests with timeless music as they arrive at your wedding.”

Ruchman created this Wedding Music CD as a replacement to traditional match books, drink umbrellas or mini-photo frames that couples often give as gifts to their guests. “Giving a gift of a couple’s personal wedding ceremony music to guests, I believe” stated Ruchman, “is a very distinctive gift in that the couple and their guests can play the beautiful CD time and again and remember the special wedding day. To add a very personal touch for guests, an insert can be placed into each CD inscribed with a note from the bridal couple.”

“The CD’s prelude music”, Ruchman explained, “sets the tone and mood for the ceremony as it is played while guests arrive, mingle, and take their seats. There are many traditional classical pieces on this Love & Ceremony ~ Wedding Music CD that are perfect for this pre-ceremony time. The initial tracks provide eleven minutes of romantic, soft, joy-filled ceremony prelude music to greet guests and help build the excitement leading up to the procession.”

As the bridal party begins to process to the front of the audience, Ruchman’s music can offer a traditional tone from her CD such as Felix Mendelssohn’s “Wedding March.” She commented, “Processional music can also be somewhat less predictable and still mesmerize attendees as the bride processes up the aisle. This album offers three pieces that are perfect for processions of the wedding party and the bride herself.”
