The Cellar Project Becomes “The Cellar Trust”

SHIPLEY, U.K. - April 16, 2013 - PRLog -- A leading mental health charity in Bradford underwent a transformation on Monday, changing its name from “The Cellar Project” to “The Cellar Trust”.

The Cellar Project, established in 1986, has helped countless individuals in Bradford and Airedale rebuild their lives following a period of illness by providing support, education, training and career advice.

Marilyn Beech, CEO commented “Sometimes organisations want to change their name to modernise their image, sometimes they have outgrown their name, sometimes they change to acknowledge exciting growth. Our name change from Project to Trust is for all of these reasons.

The Cellar Project has been a big part of the mental health scene in Bradford for the last twenty seven years so it was easy to decide that the Cellar part of our name should be retained. However it was felt we needed the rest to better reflect our longevity. The change to “Trust” does exactly that.”
