April 15, 2013 - PRLog -- London, 10 April 2013 – Bestoutcome (http://www.bestoutcome.com/), the specialist consultancy in complex change management (http://www.bestoutcome.com/delivering-change-programmes.html) for large organisations, today announced the launch of its Change Readiness Assessor (http://www.bestoutcome.com/change-readiness-assessor.html), an innovative project and programme management app for use with Apple’s iPhone and iPad. Available via the iTunes App Store and priced at £1.49 (https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/change-readiness-assessor/id600521701?mt=8), the app helps senior managers who are about to implement a new way-of-working into their business to gauge whether their organisation is prepared for the change. As well as providing an overview of the business’s readiness for the new way-of-working, it also suggests ways that the change can be implemented with limited disruption to existing levels of service.

The app takes users through four sets of questions which cover the key issues when implementing a change. These are: organisational readiness, people readiness, process readiness and technology readiness. The app provides a detailed rating of how prepared the organisation is and then suggests Corrective Actions to help improve its readiness and ensure that any impact of the new ways-of-working on customers, staff, stakeholders, processes, technology and current levels of service will be minimised during transition. Finally, there is an option to print or email a full preparedness report to colleagues, sponsors and stakeholders.

“A common mistake many organisations make is implementing change too quickly without checking the lay of the land,” explains Iain Aitken, Systems Architect, Bestoutcome. “With this app we aimed to give companies an overview of their susceptibility to change and flag any potential roadblocks before they become an issue. Of course, this app does not replace our full change consulting service but we feel that it is the perfect starting point for organisations considering change.”

The Change Readiness Assessor is able to hold multiple projects and the user is able to revise their ratings at any time during a project’s life. This is the second app developed by Bestoutcome and builds on the success of its Project Risk Gauge (http://www.bestoutcome.com/risk.html) app, which enables users to perform an on-the-move assessment of a project and assess the risk of it failing to be delivered to budget, schedule, scope or quality targets and/or not realise the promised benefits.  To purchase either app, please visit the iTunes app store here (https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/change-readiness-assessor...).
