Leisureplex Acquires Remainder of New Beach Hotel Building

GREAT YARMOUTH, U.K. - April 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Commenting on the purchase, Managing Director Paul Sawbridge stated “For more than 20 years, we have suffered from noise and antisocial behaviour from people visiting the various bars underneath the hotel in the basement and on the ground floor of the building. Although we spent large sums on noise insulation and tried to get the operator of the bars to reduce the noise, we were never able to eliminate the nuisance. This purchase means our clients will no longer suffer noise disturbance from the bars and that the bedrooms at the front of the building can now be fully utilised. We will be spending the next few months developing plans for a complete refurbishment of the ground floor and parts of the upper floors of the building. The New Beach is in the best position in Great Yarmouth and the redevelopment of the hotel will complement the good work which the local authority has already done to improve the quality of the environment in this part of town. Many of our clients have been put off by the excessive noise underneath the hotel and we believe we will see a significant increase in visitors now that the noise has been eliminated.”
