Cinemartini event to take place Thursday, April 18th

LOS ANGELES - April 13, 2013 - PRLog -- Cinemartini will hold its monthly film screening and networking event on Thursday, April 18th, 8pm at R Bar, 3331 W. 8th St. in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles. Along with several other films, Cinemartini will screen Evan Viera's beautiful animated short, Caldera, and Daniel DelPurgatorio's dystopian sci-fi thriller Other.

Each month Cinemartini screens short films by established and up-and-coming filmmakers, providing an opportunity for exhibition with a potential for networking in a relaxed setting. "Cinemartini exists to help young filmmakers get a leg up," says festival director Nick Monteleone. "We're providing an opportunity to help these filmmakers show their films in public and network with working professionals in the industry."

Cinemartini is committed to promoting the diverse talents of young filmmakers and championing broad and open communication between the film professionals of today and tomorrow. The screening and networking event is held monthly at R Bar in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles and is open to people 21 and older.
