Cosmopolitan is an international magazine for women first published in 1886 as a family magazine, eventually becoming a women's magazine in the late 1960s. Also known as Cosmo, its content as of 2011 includes articles on women’s issues, relationships, sex, health, careers, self-improvement, celebrities, as well as fashion and beauty. Cosmopolitan has 64 international editions, is printed in 35 languages, and is distributed in more than 100 countries.
Nicole Zangara has a Bachelor of Arts from American University in Washington, DC, and a Master of Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. A licensed clinical social worker, she provides psychotherapy to people of all ages and backgrounds. Born and raised in Massachusetts, she now calls Arizona home after moving to be closer to family. When she is not working or writing, she enjoys spending time traveling, hiking, and enjoying family and friends.
