Vantage G2 Eddy Current Flaw Detector Launches

HARPENDEN, U.K. - April 12, 2013 - PRLog -- The original Vantage Eddy Current Flaw Detector from ETher NDE was officially brought to market at the end of 2011. Since then it has achieved a steady growth in sales in a very competitive market. However ETher NDE were always aware that the true potential of the Vantage would not be met until the 2nd generation (Vantage G2) unit was released.

The new features in the Vantage G2 include:

• 12 Way Lemo Probe Socket (for Bridge, Reflection and Rotary Probes)
Lemo “00” for connection of absolute probes.
• Compatibility with “Hocking” Mini Drive and of course our own new “Mercury” and “Saturn” Rotary Drives
• Improved display viewing options (full screen display of spot and dual time base, spot only, time base only and dual display spot time base)
• Display Freeze and Recording Stop + Start
• Language options of English, French, Chinese, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian
• Easier to use Recording Replay function
• Larger screen display in Calibration mode

The expanded feature set of the Vantage G2 has led to greater sales success with a significant order for bolt hole inspection within the alternative energy environment during the last month and the number of quotes for the Vantage G2 continuing to increase significantly.

The continued growth of interest in the Vantage G2 has been boosted further by the recent addition of the ETher NDE Rotary Drive range and the increased sales and exposure of their Weld Probe range.

The completion of the ETher probe ranges, and the addition of the 12 Way Lemo Probe Socket in particular, means the Vantage G2 has now become an obvious choice for Eddy Current Flaw Detection and Bolthole Inspection in Weld, Aircraft and other Industrial Markets and is now positioned worldwide as the Instrument of choice.
