By: AEOM PR Today, rappers like Wiz Khalifa and Machine Gun Kelly are covered in ink. The Game and Gucci Mane are known for having large tattoos on their faces. LA based rapper Kid Ink’s name itself is an ode to the tattoo art form. But where did this all start from? Enter “Tattoo Nation”, a documentary (in theaters now) exploring the tattoo revolution in the United States. What was once limited to gangs, prisons, and the military has gone mainstream, with currently an estimated 45 million Americans having at least one tattoo. The film stars Danny Trejo, Ed Hardy, Travis Barker, and Mister Cartoon, each of whom have some form of ties to Hip Hop (50 Cent and Tech N9ne will star alongside Danny Trejo later this year in “Vengeance”) The soundtrack features rappers B-Real (Cypress Hill), Sick Jacken (The Psycho Realm), Nazo Bravo and more, and is released by RBC Records.
