Leuze electronic Introduces Their Latest Cost Effective High-Resolution Measurement Sensor

NEW HUDSON, Mich. - April 11, 2013 - PRLog -- New Hudson, MI  - The new LPS 36HI/EN light section sensor from Leuze electronic  offers high measurement resolution of 0.1mm to 0.9mm making it perfectly designed for applications requiring precise measurements of parts smaller than 3mm.  With an operating range of 200mm to 600mm in height, up to 140mm in width, and a short 10ms measuring time, the LPS 36HI/EN gives maximum application flexibility while offering a significantly lower price point than similar devices from other companies.  It is now the most cost effective line measurement sensor solution on the market. Previously, this high resolution has only been associated with camera systems – which are equally associated with a high price.

Device configuration and measurement data transmission is done via a fast 10/100Mbps Ethernet connection. The LPS software interface allows users to directly configure the device as well as collect and visualize the measurement data.  An integrated encoder connection and third party software support 3D visualization and data analysis.

The LPS 36HI/EN expands the existing line of Leuze light section sensors for high resolution applications.  Other products in the line include the LPS 36 (standard resolution), LES 36 Line Edge Sensor, and LRS 36 Line Range Sensor for object detection.  These products can be applied wherever objects need to be measured or detected reliably, quickly and accurately across longer distances without compromising precision.
