About Dynamic Identity

Dynamic Identity aims to empower students in the ages of 11 to 18 by increasing their understanding of, and skills surrounding, the construction and expression of their online identities, especially in relation to online profiling. This goal will be achieved through their participation in a step-by-step learning experience that will help them voice and share their self-reflections about this matter, while at the same time learn.

What are the benefits for students?

Students will get to:
 Self-reflect on the their actions regarding their online activities;
 Learn coping mechanisms to increase their resilience in dealing with online
experiences, both positive and negative;
 Protect their online personae;
 Improve their digital capacities at self-expression;
 Adopt responsible consumer behaviour.

How the students will benefit?

Dynamic Identity will provide a carefully designed theoretical framework, namely, a manual for a multiple-session workshop that teachers are to conduct at their own schools. The teachers will guide and aid the students to participate in workshop’s tasks, theoretical introductions and discussions.
The tasks will be supported by state-of-the-art technology (Augmented Reality) and by traditional technology (film and photography) and will confront the participants with themselves and their own identities with:
 their assumptions,
 their attitudes,
 and their decisions
