Follow on Google News | Response Fire and Electrical Services an official sponsor for saving Children in PovertyAn Australian-based electrical repairs company is giving back to the world by helping children in need across the globe.
By: responseelectricianperth “We are very proud to support children who would not otherwise be able to receive basic level education,” said Greg Allan, spokesman for Response Fire & Electrical Services. “We have just had news that five children from the slum school in India have been awarded scholarships to private schools, which is amazing, because without the support of SCIP, the children’s parents would not be able to afford even public school fees.” Mr. Allan explained that his company, which provides high quality fire and electrical services to people and businesses throughout the Perth Metropolitan area, became an official sponsor as a way to touch the lives of children around the world. “We’ve been tremendously blessed to be where we are as a company and we really do believe that to whom much is given, much is required,” Mr. Allan said. “The children are our future, regardless of where they are located. Giving back to those in need is something we’ve always believed in. We’re so excited to be able to help SCIP, help others.” SCIP provides free education to a school of 50 children in Faridabad, Delhi. It is run with the assistance of volunteers and community members from what is universally known as a very poor area. Children, according to SCIP, learn basic math, science and spelling in both English and Hindi. Children are also provided with lunch every day, which encourages their parents to send them to school rather than to work, knowing their child will have at least one decent meal a day. Mr. Allan pointed out that the sponsorship money that Response Fire & Electrical Services donates will also go toward SCIP’s health initiative. SCIP provides free basic health care to the children at their orphanage and their school in India. According to UNICEF, 5,000 children under the age of five die every day in India from preventable causes. These include diseases such as measles that were eradicated or controlled many years ago in the West. “This is just a great organization and a great cause to support,” Mr. Allan said. “We’re just honored to be able to help through our sponsorship. We encourage others to become a sponsor too, because the good you do for others will only come back to you or your organization.” For more information, about SCIP and Perth Electrician please visit: http://www.responseelectricianperth.com.au/ http://www.responseelectricianperth.com.au/ http://www.scipinc.org/ Perth Western Australia Australia End
